Colintraive Church is an independent church on the Cowal Peninsula in Scotland’s historic Argyllshire region. It is located at the very south of the peninsula, close to the northern shore of the Firth of Clyde, just east of the coastal village of Glendaruel. The church has served as the spiritual and social hub of its local community since its construction in the 16th century, with parishioners from the Rhubodach and Glendaruel areas relying on its services.

The original Colintraive church, dedicated to St Blane, was probably built around the beginning of the 16th century. The ruins of the building still stand in the grounds of the current church and it is thought to be the site where St. Columba began his ministry in 563 AD. The current church was constructed in the 1860s and has been recently refurbished with beautiful stained glass windows, a new floor and pews.
