Abbotsgrange Parish Church In Scotland is a historic parish church in the city of Dundee in Scotland. It dates back to the 16th century and was initially built as a small kirk in the area known then as Abbotstoun. The church is located within a larger conservation area and is listed as a Scheduled Ancient Monument. Its architecture styles are mainly Gothic in nature, with some later additions such as the tower which was built in the 19th Century. The church is still a popular place of worship for local residents and is noted for its friendly community atmosphere. It is one of the best churches in Scotland which you must visit.

History:

The church was founded in 1593 as a place to offer humble prayer outside of the city centre. It was run by a presbytery until the Second Reformation of 1690, when pastors began to lead the sermons. In the late 19th century, the church was renovated with grants from the Church of Scotland. This included the addition of the tower, as well as a stained-glass window, a lectern and a pipe organ. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Scotland.
