The original foundation of Dunblane Cathedral In Scotland is believed to date back to 1150. Its construction was overseen by Bishop Robert who was Bishop of Dunblane in the reign of Malcolm IV of Scotland. It formed part of a Benedictine priory. Its choir was extended in the late 13th and early 14th centuries and much of the cathedral fabric was complete by the 15th century.
