Canisbay Church of Scotland is a historic congregation located in Caithness, Scotland. The church is believed to have been built in the 18th century and is one of the oldest churches in the area. The Church is served by the Free Church of Scotland but was earlier part of the Church of Scotland though, still maintains its old style of worship.

Canisbay Church of Scotland was built around 1778 and was known as the ‘Old Kirk’. It served the parish of Canisbay and parts of the parish of Halkirk until 1925 when it was closed due to the disruption of transportation caused by World War I. The church was purchased and restored by the Free Church of Scotland in 1961, and it is still active today. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Scotland.

Canisbay Church of Scotland originally had two entrances, one for the men and one for the women. It used to feature stained glass windows, which were replaced in the 1960s with new windows from London. The church has a few interesting stone carvings, including a carving of St. John the Baptist, a dove with a twig in its beak, and a carving of Adam and Eve.
