Burntisland Parish Church In Scotland: History,Facts, & Services
History:
The original Burntisland Parish Church was built in 1460, but was replaced by the present building in 1643, and is unusual in that it has a number of Renaissance features for a building of its age. It was substantially restored in the 19th century and underwent further restoration during the 20th century. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Scotland.

Burntisland Parish Church is a Category B listed building and is a member of the Scotland’s Churches Scheme. The church has a steeple with a height of 45 feet (14 metres) and is adorned with an iron weather vane.

Burntisland Parish Church services are held every Sunday morning at 11.00 am, however these may be subject to change due to events or holidays. The church also offers Christian counselling and pastoral care for both adults and children, as well as a variety of other church related activities.This beautiful church in Scotland has made a lot of significance in the past.
