Bargeddie Parish, Church In Scotland is located in North Lanarkshire, Scotland. It was founded in 1820 as an offshoot of the nearby St. Kentigern’s Parish Church in Airdrie. The parish church of Bargeddie was first consecrated in 1826 and dedicated to St John the Baptist. It has mainly served as a traditional Scottish Presbyterian Church with the current minister being the Reverend Gordon Alexander.
The church provides a range of services and events throughout the year, such as a number of Sunday morning and evening services. Additional services, such as Sunday School and Bible studies, are also available. Special events, such as pastoral visits, are often organised through the year. A number of activities for children and young people are organised throughout the year such as Youth Fellowship.
The parish also organises regular fund-raising activities in the local community, such as cake sales and bingo nights, to support the work and mission of the church and local charities.
