The mosque consists of a large central prayer hall with a square base surrounded by fourqais (aisles) that surround the dais (mihrab). The prayer hall is surrounded on four sides by arched arcade balconies and a dome covers the prayer hall. The central dome is decorated with intricate patterns and arabesques in the traditional Islamic style, and is topped with a large white crescent moon. The exterior of the mosque is also unique. Its main entrance is marked by four grand columns that lead to the domed entrance. The grand columns are decorated with ornate stonework and intricate carved calligraphy. On either side of the grand columns, two smaller arched doorways are framed with carved stonework and topped with crescent moons. The minaret is elegant and tower-like and is topped with two crescents and two cupolas. The walls of the mosque features four corners that lead up to the interior arcade balconies.
