: Masjid Al-Jummah is an old mosque in Medina, Saudi Arabia. Historically, the mosque served as a central gathering place for the Muslims of Medina. It was established in the year 623 A.H./1226 C.E. The mosque was built by the kin of Prophet Muhammad. It encompasses an area of about 1040-square-meters. Masjid AL-Jummah is a two-storey mosque with a total of 99 domes. It has beautiful and intricate marble and stone facades and intricate brickwork. Inside the mosque, a large hall is located in the center and towards the right side are smaller halls which serve as prayer halls for the five daily prayers. The mosque is currently undergoing renovation work and the new dome of the masjid is also being constructed. It is one of the most famous mosque in Saudi-Arabia which you must visit.

The architecture of Masjid Al-Jummah in Saudi Arabia is a blend of both traditional and modern styles, incorporating features from traditional Islamic architecture with modern materials and designs. The mosque is an impressive structure made of two parts: the exterior shell and the internal prayer hall. The exterior facade is made of white marble, which is adorned with three domes and four minarets, while traditional Islamic ornamentation adorns the interiors. The internal prayer hall is centered around a central mihrab dedicated to prayer, with two additional mihrabs to either side. The walls are lined with several intricate patterns and calligraphy, and the structure is illuminated with modern LED lighting.
