A Casa da Cidade In Portugal: History,Facts, & Services
History:
The house was originally built by the Guedes family in the 18th century. In 1987, it was bought by the local municipality and turned into a social and cultural center. In 2006, a new building was constructed within the same plot, following the original style of the old house. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Portugal.
