Victory Churches of Asia In Philippines is an international church movement started in the Philippines in 1996 by its founder, Pastor Peter Tan-Chi. The organization began with just 42 people and has now grown to some two million people joining their weekly services through its churches, fellowships, and ministries throughout the country. Victory’s mission is to proclaim and spread the Good News of Jesus Christ through bold, creative and innovative means. Victory Churches of Asia began with the birth of the very first Victory church in Quezon City on April 14th, 1996. Ever since then, the church has grown exponentially and now has more than 600 churches in the Philippines, with additional Victory Churches sprouting up in over 25 countries worldwide. Victory’s services are designed to meet the needs of today’s society. Its weekly services are led by dynamic preachers and feature singing, testimonies and word-based, relevant messages. The church also provides a number of ministries to support a wide range of needs across the population, from youth and children’s ministries to mission work, healthcare and support for the elderly. The organization also runs a number of prominent leadership conferences, seminars and other events, such as the International Leadership Conference and the Global Leadership Summit, which draw more than 25,000 participants annually. In addition to its regular church life, Victory’s network of ministries is also involved in social enterprise initiatives to help the poor, homeless, and those afflicted by unnatural disasters. Through its outreach programs, Victory is making a tremendous impact in the Philippines, transforming lives, empowering the young and offering hope to the impoverished.
