It is a parish church under the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Manila. The shrine is dedicated to St. Joseph (San Jose). The chapel is known for its healing ministries and is a center known for its Mass and communal prayer under the Archdiocese of Manila. It is one of the best churches in Philippines which you must visit.

History:

The first church was established in 1952 by Fr. Trinidad Lopez and the Our Lady of Light Parish was later inaugurated in 1969. The church grounds expanded to include a basilica, parish hall and a parish school in the 1970s. The present shrine was inaugurated on November 30, 2004. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Philippines.
