The Russian Orthodox Church in the Philippines, or even the Russian Orthodox Church of the Saints Peter and Paul (Russian: Русская Православная Церковь Святых Петра и Павла), is a part of the Russian Orthodox Church Outside Russia, a jurisdiction of the Russian Orthodox Church that is in canonical communion with Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople. The mission of the Filipino diocese is to spread and deepen theological and spiritual knowledge of Russian Orthodoxy in the Philippines and to advance immigration of Russian Orthodox faithful in the country.

History:
With the immigration of East and Central European Catholics to the Philippines after the end of World War 2, the Russian Orthodox Church saw the need to establish a presence in the Philippine Islands, hence creating the parish of the Saints Peter and Paul in 1957. This was three years before the election of Pope John Paul II, the first non-Italian Pope in 455 years. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Philippines.
