St. Nicolas Greek Orthodox Church In Palestine is an Eastern Orthodox Christian church located in the village of Kafr Al Labad, in the West Bank. It is believed to have been established in the 16th century by Greek Orthodox monks travelling along pilgrimage routes. It is an important place of worship and has been listed as a historic monument in Palestine since 1975. The church is dedicated to the veneration of Saint Nicholas, a third century saint of the Eastern Orthodox Church. It has remained dedicated to the Greek Orthodox faith ever since the monks first arrived. The church offers many services including Sunday and weekday Divine Liturgy, a blessing of the water, a viewing of the holy icons, and veneration of the relics of Saint Nicholas. The church also features a small museum depicting the life of Saint Nicholas and of the Greek Orthodox Church.
