It is still in use today for services for the German-speaking Protestant community in Jerusalem. In addition, the church also serves as an ecumenical meeting place for Orthodox and Protestant Christians. The church also organizes events and events for retreats and offers a place for biblical studies and prayer services. The building has a number of icons and mosaics that are unique to the church.
