Deir al Krntl (monastery Krntl) is a Greek Orthodox monastery located in the Old City of Jerusalem, Palestine. The monastery was named after Prophet Elijah's chariot of fire or "fiery chariot." It was built on a hilltop between the valleys of Krntl and Yusifiya and is said to offer some of the best views of Jerusalem.
