Oman Evangelical Christian Church is the first and only evangelical church in Oman, an Arab nation located on the southeastern coast of the Arabian Peninsula. Established in 2005, it began as a dream of a group of Omani and foreign believers, who wanted to provide an opportunity for people to come and worship together in fellowship and unity. Believers from all parts of the world, from different countries, races, cultures and denominations congregate there to witness and experience the love of God. History:

The work of establishing the Oman Evangelical Christian Church (OECC) began in April 2005, when the first expatriate worshippers gathered in the home of an Omani woman. Over the next two years, the church met regularly in various homes in Muscat. Over time, more Omanis, as well as people from different nationalities, joined the services. As the congregation grew, the need to officially register the church became apparent. After two years in the making, on 17 September 2007, the OECC was officially registered as an independent church.
