Architecture:
Al Dhahirah Mosque is a major mosque located in the city of Ibri in the Al Dhahirah Region of Oman. It was constructed in accordance with the traditional Islamic style of architecture that is common in the region. The mosque is known for its grand design, beautiful art and craftsmanship, and open prayer galleries. It has two stories with the main prayer hall located on the upper floor and adjoining apartments for Islamic teachers on the lower story. The mosque also features a large dome over the main prayer hall, as well as minarets on either side. The exterior of the mosque is made up of various elements such as ornate decorative archways, white plaster and finished with blue tiles, and intricate calligraphic designs. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
Visiting Hours:
The Al Dhahirah Mosque in Oman is open to visitors between 8:00 AM and 12:00 PM on Fridays and Saturdays. It is closed on other days. Visitors must adhere to Islamic dress code and respect local customs and traditions. best mosque in the world.
