Worship Method:

The worship method in the Muscat Karthikeya Temple (MKT) is based on the traditional Hindu rituals and customs followed in India as per the priest's instructions. During the rituals, devotees offer incense, coconut, sandalwood, fruits, flowers, etc. as offerings to the presiding deity. Prayers and chants are offered in Sanskrit, English, Tamil, and Malayalam. Devotees take turns to perform the offering in what is called ‘Pradakshina’, a form of circumambulation around the deity. After the rituals, the priests offer aarti to the deity. This marks the completion of the worship rituals. Attendees can also seek blessings of the lord and good health by sprinkling water on the idol in the sanctum. This most visited temple in Oman
