Brief History:
Al Sifa East South Mosque in Muscat, Oman, is one of the oldest mosques in the country, dating back to the 15th century. It is believed to have been built by an anonymous architect in honor of Sultan bin Riyadh, the founder of the Al Busaidi dynasty in 1744. The mosque was completely renovated in 2011, but still retains its traditional Omani architectural design. It consists of three minarets, with its dome reflecting in its white paintwork, and its walls decorated with intricate Islamic calligraphy. It is one of the most famous mosque in Oman which you must visit.

The Al Sifa East South Mosque is located in the Sifa village of Adam Wilayat in Oman. The mosque is a single storey complex that features a typical classical Omani style with a prayer hall and minaret featuring a unique dome. The exterior of the mosque is covered with carved plasterwork that is painted in a colour scheme that combines white, green, and orange. The interior of the mosque features elaborately painted scriptures and curved arches topped by a large dome. Marble floors, pillars, and domes are also featured throughout the mosque. The mosque also houses additional facilities such as a library, classrooms, and ablution facilities. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
