It has an area of 3,500 square meters and is built in a simple style, using local materials such as stone and mud. Architecture:

Al Hazam East North Mosque is located in Suhar City, Oman, and is one of the largest and most iconic religious buildings in the country. It was built in 1990 and designed by Mohammed Salim Al Taraifi. The exterior of the mosque is a mix of contemporary and traditional architecture with four main minarets, each lined with white marble, as the main focal point. The minarets are topped with copper domes and sides of the base of the mosque are decorated with a variety of geometric patterns. The floor of the central courtyard is also decorated with intricate Islamic geometric star patterns and leads to the main prayer hall, which is adorned with huge columns and walls of mirrors. The mehrab is decorated with a large Quran inlaid in marble and gold and an intricate woven carpet. The Persian Gulf sea can be seen from the prayer hall, and the mosque also contains small libraries for studying the Quran. The Quran is found in a large shrine to the right side of the entrance. There are also separate prayer halls for men and women, the latter being completely covered in ornate Islamic calligraphy.
