The mosque’s entrance is framed by two large minarets and embellished by colorful stained glass windows. The mosque also has a large courtyard surrounded by a series of arcades and fountains. Inside, the mosque is comprised of a large prayer hall that can accommodate up to 2000 Muslims. The hall features a distinctively domed ceiling, along with numerous chandeliers and a large carpeted floor. The walls of the hall are adorned with intricate Islamic calligraphy and various other traditional Islamic decorative features. Visiting Hours:

Al Salam North Central Mosque is open for prayers seven days a week, from Fajr (dawn) to Isha (evening). However, the visitor hours at the mosque are from 9 am to 12 pm, and then from 4 pm to 6 pm during the weekdays, and from 9am to 12 pm on Fridays. All visitors must adhere to the mosque's dress code. Women must wear a shayla (Muslim headscarf) and a full-length abaya robe. Men must wear loose fitting clothing and a thawb (ankle length robe).
