The Al Rawdah Central Mosque in Oman was constructed in 2008 and is the second-largest mosque in the country. The mosque is constructed according to traditional Omani structure and style and uses coral and white marble for its exterior. The main prayer hall measures 18,095 square meters and has a capacity of 13,000 worshippers. The building features a unique Yemeni-style minaret with a spiral staircase, along with two Omani wind towers. Other features of the mosque include a large central dome, several smaller domes, qibla wall, and a traditional fountain and pool. Inside, the prayer room is equipped with chandeliers, carpets, and a traditional dignified character. The Islamic teachings are inscribed in Kufi calligraphy around the dome and walls. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

Visiting Hours:

The visiting hours of the Al Rawdah Central Mosque in Oman are from 8:00am to 11:00am and then from 4:00pm to 6:00pm, from Saturday to Thursday. The mosque is closed on Fridays. Visitors must dress modestly and the mosque is not open to non-muslims during prayer times. best mosque in the world.
