Al Qarn South West North Mosque is located in Bayt al-Jabal, a village in the Governorate of Al-Qarn in the Sultanate of Oman. This mosque was built in 1545 A. D., according to a manuscript in the Omani National Archive. It is one of the oldest mosques in the area, and is said to have been built by mariners who travelled from India and Asia. Some attribute the construction of the mosque to Malik Fahd bin Muhammad al Qarni, a Salhni Sultan from the area. The mosque has a traditional structure and design, consisting of a courtyard, prayer hall, qibla wall, and minaret.
