The Al Mawaleh West North Mosque is located in the heart of Al Mawaleh, Oman. The building is considered to be a very traditional and examples of Islamic architecture. The mosque is mostly made of solid concrete with some sections utilizing marble and stone as decorative features. The main structure of the mosque consists of four pointed minarets that rise up from a base of four pillars. The mosque has three main floors, with a larger prayer room on the first floor, smaller prayer rooms on the second and third floors, and a rooftop for prayers to the stars and gods. The flooring is marble and decorated with intricate geometric patterns throughout. The walls feature intricate designs, including decorative arches, ornate carvings, and Islamic calligraphy. The same is seen adorning the ceiling of the mosque. At the front of the mosque there is a raised platform where the Imam delivers his sermons. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
