The main prayer hall of the mosque is supported by thick stone walls with staggered stone and steel columns that create an interesting play of light and shadow throughout the day. These walls also serve to provide natural insulation to help keep the interior of the mosque cooler in the hot summer months, while still allowing for ample ventilation. The prayer hall is further complemented by two domed-facades, the main dome being 65 metres in height and the second smaller dome being 30 metres in height. These domes provide the mosque with a unique international appeal and serve to further increase the airy and bright atmosphere of the prayer hall. The entrance to the prayer hall is supported by a series of surrounding balconies and terraces, as well as elegant steel and glass doors that further stand to highlight the modern and graceful design of the mosque's exterior. The interior of the mosque is especially refined and opulent, with intricate Arabesque patterns decorating the walls and ceilings, as well as plaster detailing and carved wood throughout. The prayer hall is further ornamented with crystal chandeliers, ornate Islamic rugs and tapestries, as well as wall panels displaying verses from the Quran.
