: Al Ghubrah West North South East Mosque is a 280 year old heritage landmark situated in Seeb, near Muscat in Oman. Built in 1739, it is one of the oldest mosques in the country, and is considered to be a masterpiece of Islamic architecture. This traditional mosque is located on a peak, allowing worshippers to have a view of the whole of Muscat. The 114 feet tall minaret of the mosque is also a noteworthy attraction. The mosque is built in a circular shape with an exterior boasting traditional Omani architecture and beautiful decorations crafted from coral. Inside, the mosque has a vast central courtyard, where most of its activities take place. The mosque also has a large prayer hall, which can accommodate up to 800 worshippers. The spacious prayer hall, or Musalla offer beautiful arches, intricate details, and intricate designs. It is one of the most famous mosque in Oman which you must visit.

The Al Ghubrah West North South East Mosque is a modern Islamic mosque located in Muscat, Oman. The mosque is an example of contemporary Islamic architecture, combining modern and traditional designs. The building features four external minarets, each rising to a height of 33 meters. It has a sanctuary with capacity for up to 5,000 worshippers, surrounded by an external colonnade supported by 48 granite columns and a number of stunning geometric shapes. Inside, a central dome is encircled by four major cupolas and five smaller ones, all covered in intricate geometric patterns. The internal walls of the mosque are adorned with verses from the Quran and marble inscriptions, while the beautiful marble floors feature a variety of vibrant colors and intricate designs. The mosque is particularly beautiful at night, when it is illuminated by a central chandelier of nine tiers. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
