Brief History:
; Al Ghubrah South Central East Mosque is located in the province of Muscat, Oman. It is the first mosque opened in the region in 1892. The mosque was built by the tribe of Sultan be Ghubrah to serve the spiritual needs of the people in the area, and it has been a focal point for worshippers ever since. The mosque was renovated in 2014 and is still in use today. It is one of the most famous mosque in Oman which you must visit.
Architecture:
The Al Ghubrah South Central East Mosque in Oman is a contemporary Mosque located in the Al Ghubrah district of Muscat, Oman. Its design is a combination of contemporary influences with traditional Omani style. It has a large golden dome on the main mosque entrance and four minarets, typical of Omani mosques. The prayer hall is spacious and the walls and ceilings are adorned with intricate Islamic artwork and motifs. The interior of the mosque is well-lit and air-conditioned in order to provide a comfortable atmosphere for worshippers. The mosque also features a grand central dome and a library. There is also separate ablution and a section dedicated for female worshippers. This mosque also contains modern restrooms and air-conditioning units. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.
