Maramkulangara Krishna Temple is one of the oldest temples in Kerala. Worship at this temple is conducted according to traditional Hindu practices. The temple is opened for worship on all days except on the Guruvayur Ekadashi Day. The main deity of Maramkulangara Temple is Lord Krishna, but Shiva, Ganapathy, His consorts Sree Devi and Bhoo Devi, along with other subordinate deities, are also worshipped here. Devotional rituals and offerings to the deity such as pooja, abhishekam (ritual bath of the deity with water, milk, and other such liquids) and archana are offered in the morning and evening. On special days, various pujas such as Pushpanjali are conducted.
