The worship of Lord Venkatesh is known as ‘thulabharam’ in the Sri Lakshmi Venkatesh Temple in Kerala. The worshippers offer food items like banana, rice, jaggery, plantain and tin pieces to the Lord Venkatesh on a ‘vinayaka’ (the leaves of the banana tree).
