Worship Method:

The worship method of Sree Indilayappan Temple in Kerala is similar to that of other Hindu temples in the region, with a few differences. Puja is offered five times a day, and each has its own unique set of offerings. At the very start of the day, verses from The Rigveda are chanted and an offering of grass, flowers and fruits is made. This is then followed by the offering of Arati, which involves flaming camphor and is done three times during the entire puja time. Prayers are then chanted and the god is asked for blessings. At the end, devotees chant "Aum Namah Shivaya" and offer water to the lord.
