: Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah Mosque was built in 1786 by Sultan Mohammed ben Abdellah, and named after him. It is located in the center of Oujda, in northeastern Morocco, and is the largest and most important mosque in the city. The building is decorated with tiles, carved stucco and intricate calligraphy, and is known for its elegant minarets. At the entrance of the mosque, the structure’s graceful cupola can be seen. Inside, two very large areas are dedicated to prayer for men, while women are seated in a separate and modest area. It is one of the most famous mosque in Morocco which you must visit.

The Mosque of Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah is a religious monument located in the center of the old city of Oujda, Morocco. It is named after a famous holy man (Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdallah bin Abdelaziz Ouribi) who died in Oujda in 1663, and his burial site is located within the mosque. The mosque is a traditional Islamic mosque, and has remained largely unchanged over the centuries. Built in the 17th century, it features a simple square plan with a large central courtyard surrounded by colonnaded galleries. The entrance is through a large arched gateway. Inside, the mosque is decorated with painted plaster and carved stonework with geometric patterns. The prayer hall is built around a large, traditional mihrab on the qibla wall, and is illuminated by a large skylight above. The mosque has been extensively renovated and maintains a traditional style, mostly free of modern elements. Though much of the original decoration has been lost, the structure has retained its overall character and form. It serves as an important cultural and religious monument in Morocco, and is frequented by locals and visitors alike. This is why, it is considered one of the most beautiful mosque in the world.

Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah Mosque is open Monday through Friday from 8am to 1pm and 4pm to 9pm. On Saturdays, the mosque opens at 8am and closes at 8pm. On Sundays, the mosque opens at 8am and closes at 7pm. best mosque in the world.

The Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah Mosque is located in the city center of Oujda in Morocco and is easily accessible by car or public transport. If you are coming by car, it is situated at 9 Khemisti avenue, opposite to Zalagh Hotel. There is a parking lot near the Mosque. If you are coming by public transport, the closest bus stop is called "Boulevard du Nord", the bus line number 44 comes to this stop. It is just a 5 minutes walk to the Sidi Mohammed Ben Abdellah Mosque from there. The opening hours of the Mosque are from 6:00 to 8:00am and then again from 5:00 to 8:00pm which are strictly regulated by the Ministry of Endowment.
