The worship method of Shri Vaishno Devi Temple in Rose Belle, Mauritius follows the traditional Hindu system of puja and arati. Devotees should first take a bath and wear clean clothes before entering the temple premises. The puja starts with chanting of mantras and offering flowers and fruit to the goddess. After the puja, an arati is performed by waving a deepa, a lighted lamp, in a circular motion while chanting devotional songs.
