San Gorg Preca Church is a historic Roman Catholic church located in Valletta, Malta. The church is dedicated to Saint George Preca, a Maltese priest who founded the Society of Christian Doctrine (M.U.S.E.U.M.), and is one of the only churches in the world dedicated to him. History:

The San Gorg Preca Church was founded by a group of Maltese laypeople led by Richard Muscat in 1987. The idea for the church was suggested by the late Archbishop Joseph Mercieca. The church was designed by architect Paul Camilleri, and was built by Hili Developments. Construction on the church began in 1994 and was completed in 2000. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Malta.
