This branch started in September 1998 when two American missionaries came to share the gospel with the people of Madagascar. Since then, the church has grown rapidly and now has over 55,000 members in the country. The Church also has multiple congregations and temples in Madagascar. Church members strive to live by the standards outlined in the scriptures and provide aid to those in need. The Church also has numerous outreach and missionary programs which provide an opportunity to share the gospel with others.
