Construction of the Antananarivo Madagascar Temple began on May 26, 2017. It was dedicated 45 months later on June 1, 2019. The temple was announced on April 6, 2015, and a groundbreaking ceremony was held on August 26, 2017. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Madagascar.
