Naujamiescio Sv. Apastalo evangelisto Mato baznycia is a Catholic church in Lithuania. It was constructed in 1873 and consecrated on the feast of St. Matthew the Apostle in 1876. The church is situated in the village of Naujamiescio, district of Trakai, 35 km west of Vilnius. It is constructed from local field stone and has a semi-circle form, with two small towers. Inside the church are eight niches, four at the right, four at the left, that contain sculptures of the four evangelists. The church is dedicated to the Apostle Matthew and was built in 1873-1876 to designs of the famous neoclassical architect Laurynas Gucevičius. The designs are marked by a combination of Classical and Gothic styles. The church also features two statue-bearing towers, one on either side of the entrance. Inside, the church has a pulpit and two confessionals. Naujamiescio Sv. Apastalo evangelisto Mato baznycia offers traditional Catholic services and Sunday Mass.
