Al Othman Museum in Kuwait is a private museum located in the Rumaithya suburb of Kuwait City. It was established in 1994 with the aim of preserving and promoting Kuwait’s art, culture and heritage. In its early years, the museum was home to an impressive collection of artifacts, more than 5,000 items, all privately owned. The items included rare books, manuscripts, coins, stamps, jewelry, swords, pictures, furniture and clothing, and were spread across huge galleries, in two buildings.
