The Kuwait Science and Natural History Museum (KSNHM), located in Salmiya, Kuwait, is the largest and oldest natural history museum in the Middle East. The museum, founded in 1975, houses thousands of specimens and artifacts related to the natural history of Kuwait, the Arabian Gulf, and the Middle East region. KSNHM's exhibits highlight important topics in natural science, such as the natural environment, geology, zoology, paleontology, botany, and anthropology, as well as the wildlife and cultural history of Kuwaiti culture. The museum is the vision of His Highness Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, Kuwait's ruler at the time.
