House Kiva In Jerusalem was originally built as a dwelling for one of the most prosperous Jewish families in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City. This family lived there until the beginning of the 20th century. Since its construction, the house has undergone a number of renovations and modifications, but its original structure and layout remain largely unchanged. It is the oldest existing residential building in the Old City with an estimated construction date of the 1650s.
