Japan Christian Mikage Church is a religious organization founded in 1752 in Osaka, Japan by the Rev. Tenkai and Ryugen. It is a member of the Hokkaido Kosenkai (sometimes referred to as the Mikage Church), an independent denomination of Christianity. The church is mainly composed of believers from overseas and the Kansai area of western Japan who, since the 1950s, have come from South America, countries in the former Soviet Union region, Southeast Asia, and other parts of the world. History:

The Mikage Church first opened its doors in 1752 when the Rev. Tenkai and Ryugen established the Temple of Hymneden. However, it was not until 1865 that the church was officially opened by Catholic missionaries sent to Japan by the French Foreign Missions. The church continued to experience growth and was officially recognized as a Christian church in 1901. Since then, the church has been open to all forms of Christianity, including members from overseas and the Kansai area of western Japan, who have been prominent members of the Mikage Church since the 1950s.
