The worship method of Dargah Makhdoom Sahib in Jammu-and-Kashmir usually begins with the preparation of ‘Char Devta Churma’, a sweet made from wheat and sugar. Devotees then offer money, flowers and incense to the saint while chanting traditional hymns. The devotees then circumambulate the holy shrine seven times while reciting the names of Allah, Hazrat Ali and Makhdoom Sahib. After seeking blessings from the saint, they pray and make wishes.
