Calvary Temple was started in 1976 by its founder Reverend Raja Edward and has grown to become one of India's largest churches. From its humble beginnings as a small church in an old building, it has now evolved into a large church with multiple wings and a beautiful campus. Calvary Temple has had many achievements in its long history. In 2006, it completed 25 years in service and is now one of India's most respected churches. Additionally, the church has had the privilege of conducting various national-level prayer meetings and conferences. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Jamaica.
