History:
The church was founded in 1941 as the Pentecostal Holiness Church, founded by Pastor Wilfred Nathaniel Baker. In 1948 the church changed its name to Apostolic Ark Pentecostal Church of Jamaica, AAPCOJ, and in 1959 it moved its headquarters to Spanish Town. Over the years the church has grown substantially, both in terms of its membership and in the number of its congregations. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Jamaica.

The church is part of the Assemblies of God World Fellowship and is affiliated with the International Church of the Foursquare Gospel, among other international religious organizations. AAPCOJ is led by a General Overseer and a Board of Elders. It has over 60 local congregations and numerous international missions, mostly in Africa and the Caribbean.
Services:
The church offers religious services such as Sunday school, Bible study, prayer meetings, evangelistic campaigns, youth ministry, and many other activities. It also provides counseling services, pastoral care, and 10-day residential retreats for individuals and families. Additionally, it has a Christian school which provides education for children from pre-K to high school levels.This beautiful church in Jamaica has made a lot of significance in the past.
