The architecture of the Jameh Mosque of Ardakan in Iran is based on traditional Persian architecture. It has a large central courtyard surrounded by four iwans, one on each side. The mosque has a large dome over its main prayer hall which is decorated with tiles. There are two minarets on either side of the entrance, with a blue-tiled façade and tall arched windows.
