The IPCA was established on 16 April 1976 in Jakarta, Indonesia. It was founded by the grouping of all Pentecostal churches throughout the country in an effort to create a unified body devoted to furthering the work of the Pentecostal movement. Over the years, IPCA has seen notable growth and today consists of more than 40 regional and national members representing more than 500 churches nationwide. This is why, it is considered one of the oldest churches in Indonesia.
