Brief History:
The Al-Muhajirin Mosque is one of the oldest buildings in Pekanbaru, Indonesia. It was built in 1847 by Sayyid Husein Al-Habsyi Al-Jauhari, a religious leader from the island of Sumatra. This mosque is an example of classical Sumatran architecture, with its characteristic high-tiled roof, five domes and 14 pillars. It has been designated a historical site and is now a museum and a place for daily Muslim prayers. It is one of the most famous mosque in Indonesia which you must visit.

The architecture of the Al-Muhajirin Mosque in Pekanbaru, Indonesia, is a classic example of classic Javanese and Minangkabau architecture.
