The Besakih Temple is located in East Bali near the town of Rendang and the most convenient way to reach the temple is by car. From Denpasar, the drive will take around two hours and will bring you past the picturesque villages of Karangasem, Rendang, and Selat, before arriving at the temple. There is also a shuttle service available that departs daily from several points in Denpasar and Kuta and takes two hours to reach the temple.
