Overview:
Quila Mubarak is a fort located in Patiala city of Punjab province of India. It is believed to have been built in 1764 by Maharaja Ala Singh, the founder of the Patiala dynasty. The fort houses two major palaces and a temple within its complex. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
Quila Mubarak complex includes Sheesh Mahal, Moti Mahal and Kali Devi Temple. It has several gateways, watchtowers, Ahtees and Jharokas along with a Baradari. The fort is surrounded by a thick medieval fortification and is protected by the Archaeological Survey of India. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
