The Octagonal Water Pavilion, officially known as the "Wujin Octagonal Water Pavilion", is a historic Chinese architectural site located in Wujin District, Jiangsu Province, China. It was built during the late Ming Dynasty. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.

History:

The Octagonal Water Pavilion is noted for its octagonal structure, which is 16 meters in width and 9 meters in height. It has two stories, with the second floor resting on top of the first one. The glazed tiles on the roof are of brilliant blue-green color and are typical of much of Chinese temple architecture. On the first floor of the pavilion, there are stone lion statues, as well as stone carvings of dragons, phoenixes and other figures.
