The Mosque in Dannaik’s enclosure is a well known sixteenth century mosque in India located in Mysore in the state of Karnataka. It is believed to have been built by the Mughals in the early 16th century, around the same time Maharaja Krishnaraja Wodeyar II assumed power in the region. This national monument of India portrays the history and culture of the country.
History:
The main feature of this mosque is its tall pillars, which give it its unique look. The mosque is composed of five sections which are interconnected with small doors and two courtyards. In the center courtyard, there is an open lawn surrounded by two stone pillared verandahs. Additionally, the walls of the two sections are decorated with Hindu motifs of Ganesh, Parvati and Kartikeya. You must visit one of these historical places in India on your India tour
